I did my assignment on the State of the Nation Address for 2013 as I felt that this speech sets the tone for what government wants to do and for this assignment I wanted to do an assignment that makes a difference in my life and will a good feedback from others when I post it on the various social media sites.

This was the first time I got to download a speech from Youtube  The only problem was that the speech I chose to download was long and boring but the plans the President had was interesting. I didn’t get the feedback I wanted on the social media as most of the people who follow me on twitter or my friends on Facebook are of a younger generation so the State of the Nation address doesn’t interest them. Overall I enjoyed doing this assignment but also feel that New Media is the future in journalism and all these assignment will hopefully help me in the future.
